| 2010 NCBA Youth Fall Art Contest Art As Expression Express your love for Call Ducks in the medium of your choice, whether that is photography, painting or sketching, poetry, quilting, scrap booking, poster, short story or poetry. It is all up to you to be creative and Wow us. The entry must be solely the creation of the entrant. Age divisions: Jr. Division will be 12 years old and younger Sr. division will be 13-18 years old Judging: The judging will take place at the Ohio National Poultry Show held in Columbus, OH on November 13, 2010. Entries may be emailed, snail mailed or hand carried to the show. Hand carried entries: must be turned in before 9am on Saturday, November 13th at the Ohio National Poultry show. I will be running a table for the Ohio Avian Bowl team, so will use a portion of that table for the NCBA youth contest. Contestants must be a member of the National Call Breeders of America to be eligible. Prizes: Wooden Call Duck transport carriers for the 1st- 3rd place winners |
| 2010 Spring Poster Contest The judging of our Spring poster contest has been completed. We were fortunate enough to have Doris Robinson, APA/ABA Youth Director as our judge. Doris has judged many poster contests in the past and was the perfect judge for our contest. All contestant names were covered during the poster judging, but were reveled after judging so that the poultry show exhibitors from the Southern Ohio Poultry show could enjoy each contestant's exhibit. We had 2 posters entered in our Sr. Division and 4 posters entered in our junior division. In the Sr division 1st place: Kelsey Kaasa 2nd place: Becca Pickard In the junior division 1st place: Nicole Pickard 2nd place: Caleb Pickard 3rd place: Abigail Cipparone 4th place: Hugh Cipparone . | The youth Committe would like to announce the 2011 Nationals NCBA Youth Contests We will be having an essay contest in 100 words or less "Why" you love call ducks. Age Division: 13-18 Sr and 10-12 Jr Eligibility: Open to all youth! Essay Guidelines: Must be typed! And must include your love for call ducks! Be creative! Photo Guidelines: Must be a call duck in the photo! Photo may be mated or unmated, color or balck and white and must be a 5x7 size! Remember try to catch those silly little quackers in any pose:) Entry Deadline: Sat Nov 12th, 2011 @ 9am at the call duck youth table!
